Cesarean scar pregnancy is an ectopic pregnancy implanted in the myometrium at the site of a previous cesarean section scar. It is the rarest kind of ectopic pregnancy and may lead to severe complications.
By the end of this lecture, delegates will understand and be able to:
- Diagnose a caesarean scar pregnancy;
- Explain the treatment options available for a caesarean scar pregnancy;
- Appreciate the complications that may arise.
