Detection and Diagnosis of Inflammatory Arthropathy of the Hand and Wrist
In this educational session, Dr M Ali Abbasi FRCR, Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at the University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust will discuss the detection and diagnosis of inflammatory arthropathy of the hand and wrist.
Dr. Abbasi will look to cover some of the basic ultrasound physics in order to optimise the images you will acquire as well as factor such as patient positioning in order to gain the best access to the areas requiring scanning but also ensuring the patient is as comfortable as possible. Case studies will be used throughout the presentation to showcase what you might see during these types of examinations.
