Expo Talk: Scanning for Answers – Are the Biopsies of the Future Virtual?
In this educational session, Dr Evis Sala, Professor of Oncological Imaging at the University of Cambridge, Tristan Lawton, Chief Clinical Officer, Canon Medical Research Europe and Jamie Keenan, Associate Director at Health Unlimited discuss the potential of non-invasive ‘virtual’ biopsies.
During this session, delegates will understand more about the overlaying of CT and MRI images of ovarian cancers and fusing these with real-time ultrasounds, allowing to target very specific areas of the tumour during a biopsy.
