By the end of this lecture, delegates will:
Day 1 – Successful Pediatric Imaging
- Get an ultrasound guide of use to standardised imaging abdominal emergencies in pediatric patients
- Learn how AI based CT reconstruction allows for enhanced dose reduction while preserving diagnostic confidence
- Understand how AI based CT reconstruction algorithms are able to reduce image noise and preserve organ boundary edge definition, better than current iterative reconstruction algorithms
Day 2 – Body Imaging:
- Get an ultrasound guide of use to standardised imaging abdominal emergencies in pediatric patients

Day 4 – Cardiology – Non-Invasive Imaging

- Understand the role and advantages of CT imaging in the diagnosis and management of CHD, including its application in preoperative and postoperative evaluations
- Gain insight into the current trends and future advancements in CT imaging, and understand the balance of radiation safety in pediatric patients
Day 5 – Cardiology – Treatment:
- Learn the value of new technologies in optimising image quality, lowering radiation dose, improving procedure safety and precision, and clinical decision-making in interventional pediatric cardiology
- Gain practical tips from experienced pediatric interventional cardiologists
