Breast and Gynecology Days
Despite its societal impact affecting everything from healthcare costs to workforce productivity and overall well-being, the impact of women-related diseases is often underestimated.
Chronic pelvic pain, for example, affects between fourteen percent and thirty-two percent of women of childbearing age worldwide. A vast majority of these women experience pain severe enough to miss work. Similarly, endometriosis (a condition that impacts one in ten women of reproductive age) affects approximately one hundred ninety million women and girls. Furthermore, gynecological cancers represent nearly forty percent of all cancer incidences in women and account for more than thirty percent of all cancer mortality in women.
These alarming figures highlight the critical need for continuous education and knowledge sharing within the clinical domains of breast and gynecological health. The “Breast and Gynecology Days” webinar series, is our response to this pressing need for greater awareness and understanding in these vital areas of women’s health.
