Elastography and the musculoskeletal system: Emphasis on musculoskeletal tumours. Delegates will appreciate that Elastography:
- Can be a useful adjunct to B mode and Doppler imaging in musculoskeletal tumours, mainly to show the margins of a lesion.
- Malignant lesions will have slower shear wave velocities compared with benign lesions.
- Beware the many artefacts and limitations.
