MPUS for Thyroid Evaluation: Update
Multiparametric ultrasound (MPUS) is an effective modality for evaluating various pathologies, particularly concerning the thyroid. Recent technological advancements have introduced new possibilities for artificial intelligence (AI), US-Elastography, and contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS), both for diagnostic and interventional purposes. The latest knowledge from the literature will be presented, with a particular focus on the guidelines from European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB) and World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB). Additionally, cases from personal daily experience will be shared to provide the audience with practical tips and tricks for patient assessment.
