At the end of this lecture, delegates will understand the:

  • Importance of transvaginal ultrasound, as a diagnostic tool, in the investigation of postmenopausal bleeding;
  • Causes of postmenopausal bleeding and be able to correlate these pathologies with their appearances on transvaginal ultrasound images;
  • Limitations of transvaginal ultrasound examinations.
