Update on Advanced Echo in Heart Failure
As a chronic, progressive condition and endpoint of a variety of cardiovascular diseases, heart failure (HF) is a growing problem worldwide. In heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), the assessment of cardiac function is even more complex. Early detection through screening programs is therefore essential. The recent development of AI-assisted techniques is expected to help clinicians increase the value of preventive screening by enabling faster, simpler, and most importantly, more robust measurements with less variability to improve productivity and clinical confidence.
